Who We Really Are...

We are a body of true believers in Jesus Christ, who have become obedient from the heart to that form of doctrine delivered unto men (Romans 6:17), being made free from all past sins and called Christians of children of God. Galatians 3:26, 27.

We believe in a thorough change of heart from a love of sin to a devotion to righteousness. This complete change of heart was accomplished by the power of the Holy Spirit of God through His own chosen instrument, “the sword of the Spirit”—the Word of God. Believing this testimony, we became believers in Christ (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 4:15).

Realizing that only in Him is salvation possible, we desired to enter into Christ that we might rejoice in His Precious salvation. When we learned from the Spirit’s Testimony that men must be “baptized into Christ” (Romans 6:3; Galatians 3:27), “for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:38), we were then “buried with Him in baptism” (Colossians 2:12; Romans 6:4) and from that burial were resurrected to walk in newness of life as new creatures in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:15, 16).

As those baptized according to the Spirit’s command, we were “added to the church” (Acts 2:41, 47). This church being the “Body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22, 23; Colossians 1:18, 24), we became members of Christ’s spiritual body.

We assemble on the first day of the week to observe the Lord’s Supper. We sing “Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16), and use instrumental music. We engage in the study of the Word of God, in prayer, advocate a strictly moral life and teach the Scriptural position of the family unit: a husband-wife (male-female) relationship as ordered by God in 1 Corinthians 7.

We believe in preaching the Gospel to everyone, sharing with them this great message of love.
